[Wrf-users] RIP and cross-sections

Dear all,

I encountered two major problems in RIP plotting.
1) When I create a vertical cross-section in RIP4 for any variable,
after that if I want to create another vertical cross-section for any
variable (by using one namelist) it creates some distorted image (I
think it just rescales previous field). So far I found only one solution
- to use different namelists for all cross-sections. But obviously it
isn't convenient, because one has to run RIP a lot of times with
different namelists.
2) In vertical cross-sections RIP draws wind or other variables under
surface as well. It just shows terrain boundary curve. "nogd" option
doesn't solve this problem.

Thanks in advance.
