Air Quality and Meteorological Modeller 
Atmospheric Science Research Group (ASRG)
Science and Technology Research Institute (STRI)
University of Hertfordshire
Starting Salary upto £21,467

 
This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated air
pollution/meteorological modeller to work in a dynamic research environment.
ASRG is engaged in a range of national and international projects on air
quality and meteorological modelling. 
 
You must have a good first degree in physical, meteorological or
computational sciences and preferably a higher degree. Experience of using
advanced air pollution and/or meteorological models for air quality research
will be a distinct advantage. It is important that you have excellent
communications skills and a strong interest in developing your research work
as part of the ASRG activities. You will also play a key role in the
organisation of the series of international conferences on urban air quality
(www.urbanairquality.org <http://www.urbanairquality.org/> ) and contribute
to COST 728 activities (www.cost728.org <http://www.cost728.org/> ). 
 
This is a two-year full-time position in the first instance with a
possibility of extension at the end of the contract period.
