Tenure-Track Faculty Positions in Atmospheric Science at the University of
Alabama in Huntsville.  The Department of Atmospheric Science at the
University of Alabama in Huntsville invites applicants for TWO tenure-track
faculty positions.  Candidates for this position should be qualified in one
of the following areas:  (1) Atmospheric Dynamics with expertise in
numerical modeling and observational diagnostics, (2) atmospheric physics
with expertise in lightning and severe weather, (3) Climate Observations and
Modeling.  It is expected that the positions will be filled at the level of
Assistant Professor.  Applicants should demonstrate a potential for
high-quality teaching both at the graduate and undergraduate levels.  They
must also develop high potential for well-funded and nationally recognized
research programs.  A completed Ph.D. in meteorology, atmospheric science,
or equivalent is required.  Qualified applicants should submit the following
material:  a statement of research and teaching interests, curriculum vitae,
