Post Doctoral Position in Experimental Physical Chemistry Studies of
Atmospheric Aerosols at the Waterloo Centre for Atmospheric Sciences
(WCAS)
 
There is an immediate opening at the Post Doctoral level in experimental
aerosol research at the WCAS.  The project combines FTIR and mass
spectrometric techniques for kinetic measurements of the heterogeneous
reactions of OH and HO2 radicals with atmospheric aerosols.  Preliminary
results have already been obtained in this project and significant
expansion and development of the project is planned.  This position also
involves the opportunity to carry out development on an Aerodyne Aerosol
Mass Spectrometer to be used in field studies.
Applications from candidates with experimental experience in relevant
areas are encouraged.
The WCAS consists of approximately 30 research and support personnel
working in laboratory aerosol studies, atmospheric modelling and remote
sensing studies.  Further information on the technical aspects of the
