[ncl-talk] Getting the location of saddle/equilibrium points in a streamline

Dear NCL-experts,

I am just wondering if it is possible to get the location of equilibrium
points from the streamline charts in NCL. For example, the stars in the
attached image.

I attached my script here for plotting streamlines.
The file that I am plotting (u and v winds) can be downloaded from this
