[ncl-talk] Fitting a Gaussian Function

Dear NCL,

Is there any function to perform a fitting Gaussian curve for PDF?
I'd like to overlay my PDF (bars) with Gaussian curve fitting lines. I
am wondering
if there is the best method to estimate the coefficients for the
Gaussian function
