Hi Marston:

I have the code to make a typical histogram, but it is calculates values
based on the total number of occurrences within the range.  This is
different than the standard code provided.

The question is would it be possible to adapt this program to make squares,
where the color indicates intensity (if I interpret this correctly). I
think so, but first you need a program that can map squares like a
checkerboard.
