Dear NCL Users,
Meantime I got to know what the matter is. The "isscalar" function is available in 6.4.0 or later NCL version. I use NCL 6.3.0.
Kind regards,
Beata

Subject: [ncl-talk] issue with taylor_stats function

Dear NCL Users,
I would like to create some taylor diagrams according to https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/taylor.shtml. I used taylor_stats function from http://www.cgd.ucar.edu/~shea/taylor_stats.ncl inside taylor_1.ncl script (https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/Scripts/taylor_1.ncl). I attached this modified taylor_1.ncl.
I got the following error messages:
fatal:Undefined identifier: (isscalar) is undefined, can't continue
fatal:["Execute.c":8575]:Execute: Error occurred at or near line 91 in file taylor_1.ncl

fatal:["Execute.c":8575]:Execute: Error occurred at or near line 173 in file taylor_1.ncl
Could someone suggest me a solution for this issue?
Thank you very much for your help in advance!
Kind regards,
Beata
