[ncl-talk] Question about NCL -> ncl_convert2nc

These types of warning messages are not necessarily (in fact most
often not) an NCL issue. Rather NCL is simply letting you know that
the variables in question (WDIR_P0_L103 and VGRD_P0_L103) do not
contain the full complement of records needed to construct a complete
4d array including all levels and forecast time steps. In other words
for forecast time 97 4 records at 4 different levels are missing from
the file for the variable that NCL calls WDIR_P0_L103. Similarly there
are 6 levels missing at forecast time 101 for the other variable. The
full array as presented by NCL will contain missing values for these
missing array elements. But obviously NCL cannot completely make up
for files that are "incomplete" in some way. But it tries to let you
know when it cannot find something.
