Hi Dennis,

Thank you for your prompt response. I went through that route and followed
the instruction but I kept getting error messages while running the
scripts. I was wondering if anyone has retrieved the data using ncl.
 this is the error I keep getting for instance running fortran code,

$ gfortran hwm14.f90
/usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/5.4.0/../../../libcygwin.a(libcmain.o): In
function `main':
/usr/src/debug/cygwin-2.8.0-1/winsup/cygwin/lib/libcmain.c:37: undefined
reference to `WinMain at 16'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

Anyway, thanks again for the response.

Dipti
