[ncl-talk] bit test function in NCL?

Can I ask if there is a bit test function in NCL? I can't see one in the
function list.  Some thing along the lines of :

logical function btest (
     i : integer or long
     ibit : integer
     }

Arguments:
     i : input integer
     ibit : the bit number to test

Return value:
     logical set to True if ibit is set.
