[ncl-talk] example script failing

Using the example script (suitably modified for file name at (
http://ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/r-support.shtml) I'm told that the
variable I'm looking for  (temperature in this case) isn't there.
ncl_filedump thinks it is
(      float temperature ( recNum )
         units :        Kelvin
         _FillValue :   99999
)

Any thoughts?
