[ncl-talk] how to know the nearest grid point (i, j) to a known station(lat, lon)

Hi,all:      I was learning how to add text on a XY-plot with the example xy_20.ncl on  http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/Scripts/xy_20.ncl.
   But the texts I add move to the next page,just like this:
 ‍‍
what should I do? Or do you guys have some advice?‍
    By the way,how can I make the reference vector box smaller?
