[ncl-talk] Contour Plot Help

As we always say .... the golden rule of data processing is 'look at your
data'  !!!

Look at your min value ... -9.99999e11

Then the 'real values' are on rage (say) 350-600

I'd be shocked if that was not a 'missing value' which in NCL is _FillValue.
Please read the documentation on this.

Add ....

    var at _FillValue = min(var)       ; this will use the exact value

  opt = True
  opt at PrintStat = True
  statb = *stat_dispersion*(var, opt )

    printVarSummary(var)
    printMinMax(var,0)

  plot = gsn_csm_contour_map(wks, var, res)
