[ncl-talk] pick up a point data based on coordinates

Dear NCL users,
Is there any NCL function to pick up a point data based on supplied coordinates (specific latitude and longitude)  from standard netCDF dataset? Is the data the interpolation result or just the pixel data near to the supplied coordinates?
