[ncl-talk] cross correlation ttest

Dear NCL users

I got cross correlation between two variables (two dimensions: lat, time and at lag 0) using escorc function then did rtest and ttest. I did rtest first and then used the equation
t = r*sqrt((Nr-2)/(1-r^2))
to do ttest. Is it correct way to do ttest? 
 
If it is not should I use ttest function separately from rtest?
