[ncl-talk] Grib 3D field

Hi Debasish,
If you upgrade to 6.2.1 or 6.3.0 you will see a level dimension for
the MASSMR variable. Unfortunately, however, even though the level
issue is fixed, the current version of NCL has other issues decoding
these aerosol variables. As you probably know from looking at the
wgrib2 output, there are 5 size ranges of "Dry dust" in the file you
sent. NCL currently does not see these as distinct, and therefore, the
variable as presented may contain a different size range for each
level -- which is definitely not correct. There is only one aerosol
type (Dry dust) in this file, but if there were more, that would also
be a problem. We will definitely try to get this working properly for
6.3.1.
