There are no rules. It is arbitrary. You must decide.

WK (Wheeler-Kiladis) use 96 days (~ 3months) for nDayWin and nDaySkip (-64
days which is ~2 months of overlap).

If you have a very long time series nDaySkip can be positive .. again
arbitrary.

You should try different combinations to see how sensitive your results are.
