[ncl-install] Installation problem

It sounds like the file might have downloaded just fine. To verify that it
is the right size, cd to your Downloads directory (from the Linux bash
shell) and type:

ls -l ncl_ncarg-6.4.0-Debian7.11_64bit_gnu472.tar.gz

It should echo something like:

-rw-r--r--  1 haley  CIT\Domain Users  105991235 Feb 23  2017
The ​"105991235" is the size of the file in bytes, and it should be exactly
this on your system as well.

If it is, then you need to follow these remaining instructions to complete
the installation of NCL:


If the file is not the right size, then try downloading it again.
