[ncl-install] Installing on CYGWIN: ncl gives bad address

Hi Wing,

Do you have the latest version of X/Cygwin installed? That is, did you download the latest "setup.exe" and run it so that it updated all your X/Cygwin system files?

Finally, can you type:

  ls -l /usr/local/bin/ncl

so I can see how large the "ncl" executable is?

I googled this message, and there was some mention of it (for programs other than NCL), but I didn't see any real solutions.
A couple of people did mention that you may need to run the latest "setup.exe", so this is what I suggest.
