[ncl-install] Troubles on Ubuntu 11.10 although setting the environmental variables

Thank you for your quick reply!

You are right!
The NCARG_ROOT was set incorrectly!
Replacing the old path with the one that you suggested and not typing 
"sudo" did the trick!!
Now everything is running perfectly :D!

I'm so happy!
