Dear Sir or Madam,

I am trying to run NCAR GRaphics through Cygwin, under Windows 7 32
bits. I followed the steps of the process described on
http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Download/cygwin.shtml#SetUpDisplay

I got no major problem until the end, when I tried to run /$ncl
xy04n.ncl/ and got this error message:

/$ ncl xy04n.ncl

Segmentation fault (core dumped)/

I precise I got the right responses to the commands /printenv DISPLAY/ (
i.e. ":0.0") and /ncl -V/ (i.e. "6.0.0"). All the files seem to be
present. The only adjustment I had to make is in the command

/cp $NCARG_ROOT/lib/ncarg/nclex/xyplot/xy04n.ncl .

/

I used //usr/local/ instead of /$NCARG_ROOT/.

Do you see where all those errors come from ?

Thanks in advance for your response,
Benoit Brancheriau
