[ncl-install] Error in running NCL

Dear Min,

Did you open an X/Cygwin window?  You can't execute this command if you are just running from a Cygwin window. You should see a big "X" icon if you are running X/Cygwin.

Secondly, I recommend not setting DISPLAY, and let the X/Cygwin application set it for you. It should do this every time you run X/Cygwin.

If you are having trouble running X/Cygwin, sometimes I open a Cygwin window, and then type "startxwin" from that window.
