You can't execute this command if you are just running from a Cygwin window. You should see a big "X" icon if you are running X/Cygwin.</div><div><br></div><div>Secondly, I recommend not setting DISPLAY, and let the X/Cygwin application set it for you. I "printenv DISPLAY" and get :0.0 , which looks reasonable. </div>
<div><br></div><div>I face some problems when I was following the steps in the instruction. The first thing was I was not able to find <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 16px; ">X-startup-scripts package in Category X11 when I was installing Cygwin/X. Another problem is I didn't find the file ".cshrc" under my home/xxx directory (as discussed in the Set up your envrionment to run NCL section). Do these matter?</span></div>
