[ncl-install] I have Error message when installation version ncl-src-5.2.1

Hi Mark,

Dennis has already asked for the files offline. It's a bit odd to see NCL failing on the "addfile" command, which
is what the error message below seems to be indicating.

Is the addfile command being done inside a big "do" loop by any chance? Do these errors occur from
the first time you try to open a file with addfile?

Hopefully we'll be able to determine more once we get a sample file from you offline.
