[Narccap-announce] RCM3-GFDL rerun, more new data

Greetings NARCCAP Users,

We have published a number of new datasets on ESG.  The following
files are now available:

* ECP2 gfdl-future, Table 2: 
  pr & tas

* HRM3 ncep Table 3:
  all variables except tauu, tauv, and snd (snw is provided instead)
 
* RCM3-gfdl, Tables 1, 2, 3, and 5: 
  all variables except clt, prw, tauu, tauv (table 3) and cli, clw, wa (table
5)


IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE RCM3-GFDL RUNS:

There were problems with the specifications of lake temperatures
in the original RCM3-GFDL runs.  These runs have been redone, and
these newly-published results come from the reruns.

HOWEVER, the original results *are* sound outside of the Great Lakes
region.  The differences between the two runs outside the vicinity of
the Great Lakes region are likely trivial; we are in the process of
doing a more rigorous analysis to confirm this, and will update you.

The old RCM3-gfdl files have been replaced, but of course are 
still available via ESG.  Note that the new runs have much more
data available than the old runs.
