Disappointingly, it has been more than a year since I have sent anything to this email list. For that, I apologize. I will try to do better. There are currently multiple ongoing efforts to continue the work of the NSF GOLD projects.

Dear Peggy, Tama, Siobhan,

In July, we started a signature campaign related to a paper submitted to Science, calling for an end systemic racism in STEM. We are writing you because Science has agreed to publish this commentary, attached. It is shortened from the original form, but the 10 recommendations we made are still in there.

At that time, we were focusing signatures specifically on Faculty of Color. However, we want to add voices from Allies now as well. If you could please add your voice to this movement in the Allies section, and then forward to anyone you think would be supportive, either Faculty of Color or Allies, I’d greatly appreciate it.
