Hello Everyone,
The next Boulder Fluid Dynamics Seminar will be held tomorrow, January 13
at 3:30pm in the DLC Collaboratory on the CU Campus. Baylor Fox-Kemper from
Brown University will give a talk titled "Paused Global Warming – Does the
Fossil Record Constrain Variability in the Oceans' Abyss?” and Sean Haney
from CU will give a talk titled "The Influence of Stokes Drift on
Baroclinic Instabilities in the Ocean Mixed Layer." An announcement with
abstracts is attached.

Also, some of you may be interested in the 2015 Wind Energy Systems
Engineering Workshop, which will be held on the CU campus on January 14 and
15. This event is organized by NREL and DTU Wind Energy, and additional
information as well as registration instructions can be found here:

Hopefully some of you are able to attend this really interesting and
productive workshop.
