[Grad-postdoc-assn] Update: Writing diversity statements for academic jobs seminar

Dear all,

We had a super interesting seminar this morning on how diversity and
inclusion matter
in the university, what departments look for in diversity statements, and
we got to
preview a couple of examples of statements that Carolyn Brinkworth and
Kristen
Aponte had created for the purposes of critiquing.

Please see the slide show that they presented and a draft rubric to use as
guidance
in writing your statement.

Kristen and Carolyn have offered to do a follow on workshop where they
would
provide feedback on your diversity statements.  We can opt to do that
sooner or
later.
