*Want to show kids who STEM professions really are? Low time-commitment,
big impact!*

The Lens on Climate Change program (through CIRES Education and Outreach)
is looking for STEM professionals to be part of our 1-hour career panel for
local middle and high school students on March 23rdat 11:00 am, lunch will
be provided. This panel is part of a campus visit day that also includes a
public showing of the short films make by students.

Great career panelists are those who represent diverse perspectives and
paths, and who can discuss their setbacks and obstacles with candor (and
often humor). Most of the kids in our program have very limited exposure to
scientists and we want to show them that no matter who they are or what
their background is, they can pursue education and career options in STEM
fields.

If you are interested, please contact Erin Leckey

more about the Lens on Climate Change program, at our website
