I just saw some infer about a NSF grant writing workshop from CIRES:
Hi Everyone;
The NSF is coming to town and you are invited to attend!  The NSF GRANTS 
CONFERENCE is October 21-22 at the Westin Hotel, Denver

The conference covers: New NSF programs and initiatives; Future 
directions and strategies for national science policy; Proposal 
preparation; NSF's merit review process; Cross-disciplinary and special 
interest programs; Conflict of interest policies and Breakout sessions 
by discipline - it sounds like it will be a very good conference - 
  applicable to many aspects of our interaction with the Foundation.


Looks like it is open for anyone to attend but it cost $300 bucks. 
  Would ASP cover people going to this?  Which fund would it come out 
of? I was curious if you would want to send it out to everyone in ASP/NCAR.
