Faculty Positions in Theory and Modeling of Weather-Climate Interactions 
and Ocean -- Atmosphere Interactions or Climate-Cryosphere Dynamics

Department of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences, University at 
Albany, SUNY

The Department of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences (DAES) of the 
University at Albany, State University of New York, seeks applicants at 
the Assistant (tenure track) or Associate Professor level, effective 
Fall 2013. This is a 10-month appointment that allows supplementary 
summer salary from research funding. We are seeking to fill one position 
from candidates with expertise in the theory and modeling of 
weather-climate interactions and a second position in either 
Ocean--Atmosphere Interactions or Climate-Cryosphere Dynamics and 
Feedbacks. Candidates whose research specialization complements existing 
research programs in the department are particularly encouraged to 
apply.The position will remain open until filled; however, priority will 
be given to applications received by 1 November 2012.  Qualified
