Hi Serguei,
I think Estani already answered this question... The ORP and the Thredds server MUST be on the same data node. So you need to edit your thredds web.xml file and make sure that the ORP URL is configured to be:
https://esgdata.gfdl.noaa.gov/OpenidRelyingParty/home.htm

same as the hostname of the thredds server.

Please let us know if that solves your problem,
thanks, Luca

Hi all,

we are having a problem with accessing to HTTPServer on our thredds server (e.g. http://esgdata.gfdl.noaa.gov/thredds/esgcet/1/cmip5.output1.NOAA-GFDL.GFDL-CM3.historical.mon.atmos.Amon.r1i1p1.v1.html?dataset=cmip5.output1.NOAA-GFDL.GFDL-CM3.historical.mon.atmos.Amon.r1i1p1.v1.rsdt_Amon_GFDL-CM3_historical_r1i1p1_187001-187412.nc).

When clicking on HTTPServer link (http://esgdata.gfdl.noaa.gov/thredds/fileServer/CMIP5/output1/NOAA-GFDL/GFDL-CM3/historical/mon/atmos/Amon/r1i1p1/v20110601/rsdt/rsdt_Amon_GFDL-CM3_historical_r1i1p1_187001-187412.nc) it prompts openid login and when I put my password I've got the error:

"The page isn't redirecting properly.
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

When I am doing the same things on other Data Nodes it works fine for me. So, the problem, definitely, not with my openid but something wrong on GFDL Data Node.

Any idea what it can be the cause?

Thanks,
Sergey
