Montana State University is hiring an Environmental Analyst in the
Department of Land Resources and Environmental Science (LRES)

The Analyst will be responsible for coordinating standard analyses of these
materials using a suite of instrumentation. The Analyst will participate in
the LRES teaching mission by facilitating student projects, training and
supervising undergraduate student assistants, and providing hands-on
experiences for undergraduate students in the environmental sciences. For
applicants with a PhD, this position will include opportunities to mentor
graduate students and participate in teaching at the graduate level. The
Analyst will work closely with the Laboratory Director and with an advisory
board of engaged faculty with expertise in plant ecology, hydrology,
biogeochemistry, microbiology, agronomy and soil science, and will
participate in research projects that are an integral component to the
department, the College of Agriculture, the Montana Agricultural Experiment
Station, and MSU.
