[ES_JOBS_NET] Program manager position for NSF AI Institute for Research on Trustworthy AI in Weather, Climate, and Coastal Oceanography

The newly formed NSF AI Institute for Research on Trustworthy AI in Weather, Climate, and Coastal Oceanography is an NSF funded Institute that brings together universities, government, and private industry to develop trustworthy AI for environmental science.

We are seeking to hire a Project Coordinator who is excited about AI for environmental science and who will help to manage the logistical operations of the institute. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for: 

Project Coordination 
Fiscal Management 
Administrative Management 
Assisting the Director and senior-level personnel 
Engagement

 Required Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education/job related experience, AND:
3 years of management or supervisory experience 
Skills:

Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Able to communicate well and build rapport quickly with students, faculty and staff
Able to produce reports and complete work within deadlines
Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives
Computer skills including internet and web-based interfaces
Must be able to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations
Able to effectively evaluate projects/programs and produce comprehensive reports
Must have advanced/proficient/writing skills for composing audits, reports and advisories
