Description of Work Unit

The School of Global Environmental Sustainability (SoGES) at Colorado State University, founded in 2008, is dedicated to scientific research, education, and engagement on issues of global environmental sustainability. The School positions CSU to address the multiple challenges to global sustainability through broad-based research, curricular, and outreach initiatives. Areas of emphasis include food security, poverty, inequality, water management, strategies and desertification, globalization, industrial ecology, sustainable engineering, population growth, and urbanization.
Position Summary

Temporary Postdoctoral Fellow positions may become available throughout the year in the School of Global Environmental Sustainability. Annual terms and reappointment may depend on performance and/or the continued availability of funding.

The School invests in innovative research activities to advance global sustainability, including cultivation of interdisciplinary partnerships, experimentation with new methods, and development of projects that integrate disparate knowledge and approaches. Areas of work may include climate change and energy, food security, environmental change and governance, sustainable communities, land and water resources, biodiversity conservation, and management
Required Job Qualifications

Applicants must have a completed PhD or equivalent degree with interdisciplinary work related to sustainability. Example fields of study might include environmental sciences, STEM, social sciences, and humanities
