*Opening for Directors at Five Regional Climate Adaptation Science Centers *

The U.S. Geological Survey is seeking to hire Directors for five regional
Climate Adaptation Science Centers (CASCs): the Southeast CASC,
Northeast CASC, South Central CASC, Northwest CASC, and Pacific
Islands CASC. The positions will be hired as Supervisory Physical
Scientist/Biologist, GS-0401/1301-15. Responsibilities include overseeing
the development, coordination, and/or execution of a regional-scale climate
change research program, with work that will increase the scientific
understanding of the impacts of climate change on fish, wildlife, habitats,
