Dear Colleagues,

We have two research analyst openings for a range of projects on climate change risks and responses. Current topics include global-scale risk assessment (e.g., climate change and violent conflict), adaptation to extremes (e.g., uneven risks, migration, and retreat in coastal areas), and the intersection of land use and climate policy (e.g., carbon removal through BECCS). Across projects, the focus is integrative, interdisciplinary methods of assessment-based research.

A full position description is under job number 78161 here: http://stanfordcareers.stanford.edu/job-search?utm_source=web&utm_medium=button&utm_campaign=Search%20Jobs. A bachelor's degree is required, along with experience with data processing and statistical analysis. Various disciplinary backgrounds in the natural or social sciences or engineering could be relevant. The position is part of the Stanford Environment Assessment Facility and the Field Lab at the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment.

I'd be very happy to follow up with further information.

Kind regards,
Katharine
