Inter-Society Collaborations Manager

Embracing a mission of connecting the world of applied geophysics, the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) is a not-for-profit organization supporting 27,000 members from 128 countries. Founded in 1930, SEG provides information, tools, and resources vital to advancing the science of exploration geophysics, fostering common scientific interests, supporting humanitarian efforts, and accelerating geophysical innovation. The headquarters office is located in south Tulsa in a class A office building on the Geophysical Resources campus.
This position will be responsible for expanding the effectiveness of the society's obligations in non-operated inter-society conferences; collaborate/build relationships with other professional societies; and, develop new business outside North America. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in the sciences, business or engineering and have a combined minimum ten years' experience in business development/creating deals in the geosciences, engineering and or the petroleum community; working in or with a non-profit professional society in a business relationship or volunteer role and have global outreach experience.
With regional offices in Dubai, UAE and Beijing, China, SEG is a global society dedicated to enhancing the present and future of applied geophysics. Its programs, knowledge transfer, and humanitarian outreach makes working for SEG both exciting and rewarding.
