We have an Air Pollution Specialist position available in CARB's Advanced Monitoring Techniques Section. This position is focused on conducting air monitoring in communities near oil and gas production facilities.

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical skills and help develop California Air Resources Board's (CARB) community air monitoring program? If so, come and join our team! The Advanced Monitoring Techniques Section in the Monitoring and Laboratory Division has an opening for an Air Pollution Specialist who will implement CARB's Study of Neighborhood Air near Petroleum Sources (SNAPS) program. This position will develop methods, implement protocols, and deploy state of the art instrumentation to conduct limited-term, intensive community air monitoring with a particular focus on communities near oil and gas production, storage, and distribution.
