Job Summary

The Department of Geosciences is seeking to hire a part-time lecturer for a single course to be taught in Fall, 2018, in Petroleum Geosciences.
Because of the importance of this field to the Geosciences and because of the rapidly changing nature of the field, the successful applicant will preferably be presently employed by a leading hydrocarbon resource exploration/evaluation company, have an MS or PhD in Geology or a closely related field, and have at least 30 years' of industry experience with detailed understanding of both conventional and unconventional hydrocarbon exploration and production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Teach one or more graduate and/or undergraduate classes.
Interact with students via online learning platform (eLearning).
Submit assessment information as required by Assessment Team for course content.
