Description

This individual will work closely with PI/supervisor, graduate students, postdocs and undergraduate research assistants in the Research in Spatial Cognition Lab within the Spatial Intelligence and Learning Center to ensure smooth functioning of an active research laboratory. Studies in this lab relate to spatial cognition, action, perception, and geoscience education. The lab's studies involve collection of questionnaire, psychometric, and behavioral data. The RA will also ideally have basic knowledge of E-Prime experiment building software. One or more years of conducting experiments with human participants is necessary. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Linguistics, or related field and six months relevant experience.
Experience working in a research setting is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to interact with a diverse population of program participants.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
* Strong written communication skills and ability to write new lab study protocols.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Ability to update and manage a website.

This is a grant funded position.
