Dear all,

The School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment (SEAE) at Monash University
in Melbourne, Australia, seeks to make an appointment for a specialist
in climate science or paleoclimatology (Quaternary specialist) to fill a
two year fixed-term position, available from July 2017. SEAE at Monash has
broad interests across the full range of Earth sciences (see
http://www.monash.edu/science/schools/earth-atmosphere-environment).

The new appointee, at the Lecturer B Level, will be expected to teach into
climatology subjects in the Climate Science, Environmental Earth Sciences
and Geographical Sciences teaching streams of SEAE, and to develop research
linkages across the school. Teaching duties will include the development
and implementation of two 3rd year units on paleoclimatology and future
climate projections and impacts.  Research activity in an area
of climate science or paleoclimatology (Quaternary specialist) is also
required.
