There is an opening for a clay mineralogist at the Illinois State Geological Survey (ISGS). The ISGS has had such a rich history of clay mineralogists starting with one of the founding fathers of the clay minerals society and clay mineralogy in the US, Ralph Grim. After Grim were Art White, William Bradley, Herb Glas, Dewey Moore, and Randy Hughes to name a few.
