Assistant Professor of Planetary Materials

The Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences (EAPS), within
the College of Science, Purdue University, invites applications for a
tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the
area of Planetary Materials. The Planetary Science Group within EAPS has an
international reputation, extensive involvement in spacecraft missions, and
newly developed undergraduate and graduate programs. We seek to grow and
are looking for someone who conducts laboratory analysis of planetary
materials or their terrestrial analogues. Candidates must have completed
their PhD in an appropriate field. The appointee is expected to develop and
maintain a vigorous, externally funded, internationally recognized research
program and to teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate
levels.
