We are recruiting an Air Quality Specialist for the Atmospheric Measurements unit of our Science and Technology Advancement (STA) office, a major division of SCAQMD. The primary responsibility of the individual hired for this position will be to help develop and execute various monitoring activities to study specific air quality issues affecting the South Coast Air Basin*. The successful candidate will also conduct the validation, analysis, and interpretation of air quality data from special monitoring projects, write technical reports, and communicate the study results to the public.  The Air Quality Specialist will also work on various air quality issues, in collaboration with other units within SCAQMD, other governmental agencies, public and private institutions, and environmental and community organizations.
