JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC has a contingent job opportunity for a Research Meteorologist. This 
position will be located in Monterey, California.

The Research Meteorologist will develop and improve Data handling, 
quality control and assimilation techniques. Develop and improve the 
atmospheric physics modeling within the NWP models, either NAVGEM (the 
Navy's Global model) or COAMPS (the Navy's Coupled Ocean Atmospheric 
Mesoscale model). Develop new methods of applying and distributing NWP 
model output to support Naval personnel and operations.

*Qualifications:*

BASIC EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree from an accredited 
institution in related field, plus 2-4 years experience. SAIC
