ANALYTICAL OR PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY FACULTY POSITION

The University of Georgia Department of Chemistry invites applications 
for a tenure track
faculty position in Analytical or Physical Chemistry, commencing August 
1, 2016, at the level of
Assistant Professor. The Department of Chemistry provides an excellent 
environment for
multidisciplinary research.  Candidates in experimental research areas 
will be given highest
priority. Successful applicants will have a strong research record, 
demonstrate creativity in their
research plans, and exhibit a strong commitment to teaching at the 
graduate and undergraduate
levels. A Ph.D. in chemistry or related field and at least one year of 
postdoctoral experience are
required. Candidates should submit a cover letter of interest that 
addresses how credentials and
experience meet the responsibilities and qualifications of the position, 
curriculum vitae, concise
statements of research and teaching plans (no longer than 8 pages), and 
arrange for at least three
letters of recommendation to be submitted in pdf format. The application 
materials must be
