The University of Georgia Department of Chemistry invites
applications for a tenure track<br>
faculty position in Analytical or Physical Chemistry, commencing
August 1, 2016, at the level of <br>
Assistant Professor. The Department of Chemistry provides an
excellent environment for <br>
multidisciplinary research. Candidates in experimental research
areas will be given highest <br>
priority. Successful applicants will have a strong research
record, demonstrate creativity in their <br>
research plans, and exhibit a strong commitment to teaching at
the graduate and undergraduate <br>
levels. A Ph.D. in chemistry or related field and at least one
year of postdoctoral experience are <br>
required. Candidates should submit a cover letter of interest
that addresses how credentials and <br>
experience meet the responsibilities and qualifications of the
position, curriculum vitae, concise <br>
statements of research and teaching plans (no longer than 8
pages), and arrange for at least three <br>
letters of recommendation to be submitted in pdf format. The
