[ES_JOBS_NET] Seeking book authors for: Sustainable Planet, Environmental Geography, Physical Geography

ABC-CLIO is looking for lead authors and editors, who have PhDs, for several forthcoming publications.  If you are interested in any of these opportunities, please send your CV to Julie Dunbar (jdunbar at abc-clio.com<mailto:jdunbar at abc-clio.com>), along with an explanation why you are interested in the project. Please note that due to the volume of responses we receive, we can only respond to those who we feel are an appropriate fit for the project.

Sustainable Planet: Issues and Solutions for Environmental Survival, 4 volumes: Provides comprehensive coverage on the world's most pressing environmental issues, their impact in countries around the world, and how, or if, they are being addressed. We are either looking for a single editor to manage all four volumes or coeditors (2 to 4) to share the work.
Physical Geography, 1 volume: A comprehensive resource on the Earth's physical geography, consistent with standard and AP curriculums across the U.S., and will illustrate through case studies how physical processes affect humans and how humans affect physical processes.
Environmental Geography, 1 volume: A comprehensive resource on environmental geography, consistent with standard and AP geography curriculums across the U.S., and will illustrate through case studies how humans impact the environment, how the environment impacts humans, and the sustainable and unsustainable management of natural resources.
We are also seeking contributors for:
Humans and Animals: A Geography of Coexistence: Drs. Julie Urbanik and Connie Johnston are seeking contributors to write entries on "Mosquitos" and "Species" for this 1-volume work. For more information, please send your CV to Dr. Johnston at cjohnst4 at uoregon.edu<mailto:cjohnst4 at uoregon.edu>
